Director of Advanced Transit Research at Chalmers University of Technology (1994-97).
Guest professor in Traffic and Logistics and Director, Centre for Traffic Research at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm.

Board member of the Advanced Transit Association (ATRA). Scientific committee member for several conferences on Automated People Movers.
Abstracts The line capacity of podcars used as conventional PRT is determined by the average vehicle load and the safe headway requirements. The safe headway increases with speed so that high-speed systems offer lower capacity unless we change something.
