Day 2

TILLSAMMANS = TOGETHER!
Christer Lindström, Institute for
Sustainable Transportation founder
(IST) , expressed it well in his speech
during the Castle dinner.
He emphasised that the whole
Uppsala event is something
we do Together, (Tillsammans
in Swedish).
Of cource there are different vendors, different systems, different authorities, researchers etc and there certainly is competition!
But nevertheless, a general feeling of togetherness was there, that corresponded to Lindströms plea.
All involved in the podcar movement have a common interest in promoting the whole concept. The market potentials are enormous, thus it can be something in it for everyone. |

Presentations from the Vendors was an important part of the first day

Never has such a row of podcar vendors (yes, still all men...), been gathered at the same place:
Malcolm Buchanan, Mike Lester Sky web express, Palle Jensen, RUF, Robbert Lohmann Cyber Cab,
Ollie Mikosza, MIST-ER, Per Ribbing, Flyway, Christoffer Perkins, Sky Tran, John Cole, Dr Lee Vectus,
Larry Fabian ATRA and Magnus Hunhammar.
Questions to them from the floor took place. Kjell Dahlström, Director
General asked the
panel if they were ready to participate in some kind of a tournament for the
optimal podcar/PRT
solution, where IST or a similar body was a jury. All answered yes!
